Lecture1(Differential Equation)

Equation:
A Equation in which we have equal Sign
Differential Equation:
An Equation in which derivatives are involved is known as a differential Equation.
Types Of Differential Equations:
There are Two Types of Differential Equations
1-Ordinary Differential Equation(ODE)
2-Partial Differential Equation(PDE)
Ordinary Differential Equation(ODE):
An Ordinary Differential Equation is a Mathematical Equation that involves one or more functions of a single variable and their derivatives.
Partial Differential Equation(PDE):
Partial Differential Equation is a type of differential Equation that invloves functions of multiple independent variables and their partial derivatives.
Order:
The term "Order" refers to the highest derivative Present in the equation.
For Example:
y''+3y'-2y=0 (2nd Order)
Degree:
The term "Degree" refers to the Power of the highest derivative
For Example:
(y'')^2+3y'^3-2y=0 (Degree 2)
Linear/Non-Linear:
Liner and non-linear are the terms used to describe different types of relationships between variables and functions.
Families Of Function(ILATE):
I: Inverse
L: Log
A: Algebraic
T: Trignometic
E: Exponential
